Post : Scientist - Cell & Molecular Biology
Desired profile : M.Sc. (specialization in any Life sciences) with 8-13 years’ industrial experience or Ph.D. with 2-4 years' of post doc or industrial experience.
Job Details :
• Conduct cell-based assays and molecular biology experiments.
• Handle multiple adherent and suspension cancer cell lines.
• Conduct proliferation/viability/cytotoxicity assays for determining potency of compounds.
• Establish various high throughput in-vitro assays for primary screening of molecules using Western Blot analysis, pull down and immunoprecipitation. in-cell-western technique. Flow cytometry, reporter assays.
• Conduct Gene expression studies by western blot, ELISA or real time PCR using cell lines as well as in-vivo tissue samples.
• Able to generate pooled or stable clones of cell lines.
• Able to troubleshoot experiments, analyse data, interpret, and make scientific presentations.
