Job for M.Pharm as Junior Research Fellow at Institute of Chemical Technology

Established on October 1, 1933 as University Department of Chemical Technology (popularly called UDCT) of the University of Bombay (now Mumbai), with the noble intention of advancing India's knowledge reserves in chemical science and technology, the Institute has grown to become a premier (deemed) university devoted to education, training, research and industrial collaboration in chemical engineering, chemical technology, applied chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology and bio-processing. The then UDCT grew in stature over the years and was granted partial autonomy by the University of Mumbai in 1985, which was taken to the next echelon under the concept of autonomy propagated by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Applications are invited for the Junior Research Fellow position (1 Appointment) on a research project sponsored by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. A project entitled "Evaluation of solid dosage form," under supervision of Prof. P.R. Vavia, Professor in Pharmaceutics in the Dept, of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology of ICT.

Applicant should be M. Pharm, preferably in Pharmaceutics completed or thesis submitted. Candidates who have qualified ICT Ph.D. Entrance test of 2020/2021 with a sound knowledge in formulation development will be given preference. The selected candidate may be allowed to register for Ph.D. (Tech.) degree of Institute of Chemical Technology (Deemed to be University) under the guidance of Prof. P. R. Vavia as per ICT Ph.D. guidelines. A monthly fellowship of Rs. 25000/- (consolidated) per month will be paid to the selected candidates for the period of 3 years.

The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview (online mode), which will be held in the 15th November, 2021. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated for the interview date.
