West Godavari district or Paschima Godavari Jilla is one of the 13 districts in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The district is situated in Coastal Andhra region of the state. Eluru is the administrative headquarters of the district. As of 2011 census of India, it has an area of 7,742 km2 (2,989 sq mi) and a population of 39,36,966. It is bounded by Krishna district on the west, East Godavari district on the east, Bay of Bengal on the south and the state of Telangana on the north.

Required basic qualification : Intermediate and Diploma in Pharmacy. Must be registered in the Andhra Pradesh Council Registration of Pharmacy with up to date renewal.
Criteria adopted for recruitment : Out of 100 marks, 45 marks allotted against the marks obtained in the academic qualification, 45 marks allotted against the marks obtained in the technical qualification and 10 marks against the waiting period @ 1 mark per year after completing the course subject to maximum of 10 marks
The age limit of the above said posts is for the general Category (OC) 45 Years and for Reservation Category (BC, SC, ST) 5 Years more and for PH Candidates get more 10 years .
Criteria for select the candidates as per G.O.Rt.No.217 issued by Health Medical and Family Welfare Department,Dated:26-02-2001.
