National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad is an "Institute of National Importance" with proclaimed objectives of becoming Centre of Excellence for advanced research in pharmaceutical sciences. NIPER-Mohali was the first institute established in the year 1998 under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, the Govt. of India. Later, the DOP established 6 new NIPERs across the country including NIPER-Hyderabad which started functioning from 19th October 2007, from the premises of erstwhile R&D Centre of IDPL, Balanagar, Hyderabad.
NIPER-Hyderabad is currently looking for highly motivated doctoral candidates who are qualified in DST / DBT / CSIR / ICMR and DST Inspire Ph.D fellowships. The candidate should have good academic background in respective discipline and he/she should be self-motivated with an independent, target-oriented, and systematic working style. A high degree of creativity and flexibility as well as excellent collaborative skills are desirable.
Eligibility criteria: M.S. (Pharm.) / M.Pharm. / M.Tech. (Pharm.) / M.Sc./ M.E./ M.V. Sc./ M.D. (Medicinal Chemistry/ Process Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Natural Products/Pharmacology & Toxicology / Life Sciences / Pharmaceutics / Formulations/ Pharmacoinformatics / Pharmaceutical analysis/ Biomedical Engineering); M.Sc. (Organic / Analytical Chemistry); M.B.A. (Pharm.).
