Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali (Punjab), an autonomous institution of Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, has been established under the umbrella of NANO MISSION, initiated by DST to boost research and development in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in India. INST started its activities on 3rd January 2013, the date on which its first Director was appointed.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited from motivated and bright candidates for the position of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on contractual basis in the research project funded under SERB funded project Government of India, at the Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali.
Title of the Research Project : Addressing Diabetic Foot Ulcers by using a Tissue Engineering Approach
Principal Investigator : Prof. Deepa Ghosh, Scientist-F.
Qualifications:
1. Masters in Chemistry / Biochemistry/ Biotechnology / Pharmacy / Nanoscience / Material science
2. Qualified any one of the following : CSIR / UGC National Eligibility test or LS Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) ICMR-JRF/ICAR-AICE/JEST/JGEEBILS
Desirable : Prior research experience in related fields will be preferred, but is not mandatory.
Age limit : Must not be over 30 years as on 20.10.2020, a relaxation of upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to OBC-Non Creamy Layer (OBCNCL)/ SC/ST/PwD/Transgender categories and to women applicants.
Fellowship : Rs. 31,000/- (pm) + 16% HRA
Duration : Initially for one year and may be extended year to year basis till the project ends based upon the performance of the candidate and the availability of funds.
