Job description: The postdoctoral fellow will perform biomedical research focused on ultrasound imaging for tissue characterization. The fellow will be expected to develop ultrasound imaging algorithms, fabricate ultrasound tissue-mimicking hydrogel phantoms, perform tissue characterization experiments, and assist in laboratory development. The applicant must be self-motivated, independent, and interested in biomedical research. The fellow will receive extensive training and mentorship in biomedical research methods and scientific communication. Eligibility: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Biomedical/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering, Bioinstrumentation, Applied Physics, or related fields, from recognized institutions/universities with good academic track record and publications. Candidates must have experience in programming and signal processing in MATLAB/C/C++/Python. Candidates who have submitted their thesis are also eligible. Previous experience with ultrasound instrumentation is desirable but not essential.

Duration: The initial appointment will be for 1 year, extendable for up to 2 years based on performance.

Remuneration: INR 45,000 to 55,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
