BITS offers opportunity for Internship

The Faculty at Pharmacy Department can boast of an optimum mix of youth and experience. Faculty development programmes in the form of Intensive Teaching Workshops and specific Subject workshops are routinely conducted at the institute level to train young teachers. The Pharmacy Department and Biosciences Department at BITS also has a faculty and student exchange and training collaboration with USUHS, Bethesda, USA. Several of our adjunct faculty members are located in leading pharmaceutical industries in India and abroad who guide the students during their practice school programme. The teachers are always striving towards keeping the students abreast of the latest advancements in pharmacy.

Post : Internship opportunity (2 months)

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for two-month duration internship sponsored by DST-SERB to work in following areas/labs in the Department of Pharmacy, BITS-Pilani, Pilani Campus, Rajasthan

Research Area/Labs:
1) Natural products/Phytochemistry (with Dr. Atish Paul, HOD)
2) Pharmaceutics (with Dr. Anil Jindal)
3) Medicinal/Synthetic Chemistry (with Dr. Sandeep Sundriyal)

Fellowship amount: 5,000 INR (consolidated) per month

Eligibility requirements: M.S. / M. Pharmacy

This is a two-month internship opportunity sponsored by DST under its SSR policy. The student will get an opportunity to work with abovementioned faculty members of his/her choice in the Department of Pharmacy, BITS-Pilani.

Students will be provided hostel accommodation on nominal charges.

Selection will be done by the screening committee appointed by the Department of Pharmacy, BITS-Pilani (Pilani campus).

At the end of the internship certificate will be provided by the Principal Investigator.
