Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from Indian Nationals to join in the following position.
Post : Research Associate
Projects: “Epigenetic regulation of normal and malignant hematopoiesis”. The project requires knowledge of knockdown/knockout strategies, molecular biology, biochemistry, and basic bioinformatics analysis.
Fellowship: Rs. 36000/- per month + @20%HRA
Eligibility: Candidates with Ph. D. in any branch of Life Sciences with preferred expertise in the areas of chromatin biology, epigenetics and bioinformatics. The candidates should have publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals in their area of expertise. Candidates who have completed final Ph.D. defense can also apply. Candidates with expertise in CRISPR and shRNA-based knockdown techniques, and experienced in working with the hematopoietic system will be preferred.
Selection: Candidates will be selected after application screening, followed by an interview. Candidates should submit one-page write-up explaining their research interest and how they are suitable for the advertised position.
