However, for the candidates residing in Pangi and Bharmour Sub Division of Chamba District, Kinnaur District, Dodra Kwar Sub Division of Shimla District and Lahul & Spiti District of Himachal Pradesh, the last date for receipt of application by post/speed post (Not by hand or By Courier) is 30th November, 2015. The application received after these dates will not be entertained. The University will not be responsible for delay in receipt of applications due to any reasons what so ever.

Educational and other qualifications: (a) Essential Qualification(s):
1. Plus two or its equivalent from recognized Board of School Education/University.
2. Successful training of atleast two years duration in Ayurvedic Pharmacist/Diploma in Pharmacy (Ayurveda)/ Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy (Ayurveda) from an Institution duly recognized by the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board/University recognized by the H.P. Government.
(b) Desirable Qualification(s):
Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
Age: The applicant should be between 18-45 years as on 01-01-2015. The upper age limit is relaxable by five years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes, Persons with disabilities & Children/Grand Children of Freedom Fighters of Himachal Pradesh. The upper age relaxation is also available to Ex- Servicemen candidates of H.P. as per provision of relevant rules/instructions of H P. Govt.
General instructions:
(i) The application may be submitted on the prescribed format only.
(ii) Separate application form should be used for each post & only one application may be sent in one envelope.
(iii) Applications found incomplete in any manner during the scrutiny of applications shall be liable to be rejected.
(iv) The eligible candidates shall have to appear in a test/interview on the date/s to be notified separately and no TA/DA is admissible for this purpose.
(v) The candidates selected for appointment to various posts on contract basis will have to execute a contract with the H.P. University as per provisions of Recruitment & Promotion Rules/instructions of H.P. Government.
(vi) The candidate claiming fee exemption should posses a valid certificate of the respective category as on the last date of submission of application and the copy of certificate is required to be enclosed with the application form.
(vii) No change of category shall be allowed after the receipt of application, i.e. from SC to OBC/ST and vice-versa.
(viii) The University reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up the posts(s) or to call limited candidates for test/interview. The number of posts likely to be filled may vary.
(ix) The decision of Himachal Pradesh University regarding eligibility etc. of a candidate for personality test or selection will be final and no correspondence/ personal enquiries will be entertained.
