The “Central Government Health Scheme” (CGHS) for the Central Govt. employees and their dependents was started in New Delhi in 1954. Subsequently, the scheme was extended to pensioners, freedom fighters and other specific groups of people. The scheme was introduced in Kolkata during 1972. Apart from Delhi and Kolkata, the scheme now covers the cities of Mumbai, Allahabad, Meerut, Kanpur, Patna, Nagpur, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur, Pune, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram, Shillong, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Bhubaneswar and Ranchi.
Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the following posts for recruitment through interview:
Post: Pharmacist
Category No. -2.: Pharmacist (Allopathy)
No. of post: 07 (Seven) = (U.R. - 03, OBC – 03, SC-01)
Essential qualification: (a) 10 + 2 with science stream Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
(b) Technical qualification - Approved diploma in Pharmacy from an Institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India and registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
Age limit: 18-30 years
Relaxation:
(a) Up-to 05 years for SC/ST Candidates.
(b) Up-to 03 years for OBC Candidates.
For Government servant(s):
Up-to 35 years for UR category.
Up-to 35 years + 03 years = 38 years for OBC category
Up-to 35 years + 05 years = 40 years for SC/ST Categories.
Category No. - 3.: Pharmacist-cum-Clerk (Ayurvedic)
No. of post: 01 (One Post) = (UR – 01)
Essential qualification: (a) 12 Class Passed or equivalent with Science Stream Physics or Chemistry or Biology) from a recognized Board or University;
(b) Technical qualification : Degree in Ayurvedic Pharmacy or Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy course, duration of which should not be less than two years from any Govt.
Organisation or recognised private Institute or by any University and registered with respective State Government Ayurvedic Regulatory Boards or Councils and
Age Limit: 20 to 30 years
Relaxation:
(a) Up-to 05 years for SC/ST Candidates.
(b) Up-to 03 years OBC Candidates.
For Departmental Candidates: Up-to the age of forty years in the case of general candidates and up-to forty-five years in the case of candidates belonging to the SC/ST.
General information & Instruction for Application to the above posts:
1. No. of vacancies mentioned herein may vary (Increase or Decrease) depending upon the Administrative exigencies.
2. Name of selected candidates as well as reserve list will be prepared from this interview which will remain valid till filling up of the post as per Point No. 1 mentioned above.
3. The crucial date of determining eligibility of all candidates in every respect like age limit, essential qualifications and proof of age I as on the closing date of receipt of the application i.e. 31st October 2014.
4. (i) Candidates employed in Government service should send their application through proper channel. However, they may send an advance copy to reach this office before closing day. (ii) Submission of No Objection Certificate from their employer is mandatory before Interview.
5. Age Relaxation for Government employees. Candidates seeking age relaxation under this Para should submit certificate issued after the date of advertisement from his/her employer on the office’s Letter Head to the effect that he or she is a regularly appointed Government Servant and not an ad-hoc /temporary/daily wages/hourly paid/contact basis employee who has rendered not less than three years continuous service on regular basis as on the closing date i.e. 31 st October 2014.
