Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS) under Ministry of Ayush is an apex body for conducting research in Siddha system of medicine and provides health care facilities through its 8 peripheral institutes / units and 5 co-located units of CCRS. The Council is engaged in multifaceted research activities. In the area of clinical research, pre-clinical Pharmacological / Toxicological studies, Open label trials, multi-centric Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) are being conducted for acute and chronic diseases. The main emphasis is on diseases of national health priority with a view to develop safe and effective Siddha treatments.

Name of Project : “Elucidating the chemistry of copper based higher order Nano formulations, comprehending Heterogeneous Reaction Systems”
Qualification : M.Sc., Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Inorganic Chemistry from a recognized University / Institution.
Desirable : (i) Candidates qualified in national level exams such as CSIR-JRF/NET, GATE will be preferred.
(ii) Research Experience in any reputed R&D institutions/industries with well versed in analytical techniques.
Age : Not to exceed 28 years, Relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC and Women candidates as per GOI Rules.
Fellowship : Rs. 31,000/- + HRA as applicable (may be revised as per the orders).
Period : Engagement is initially for a period of one year or till completion of the project whichever is earlier.
Place of Posting : Siddha Central Research Institute, Chennai
The above position is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. The selected candidate will not have any right for claiming pay scale or absorption against any regular post being vacant on a later date at this institute/council. Candidates attending the interview should bring the original educational qualification, experience certificates and publications, any identity proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Pan card etc) with Xerox Copies and two passport size photos. Candidates already working should produce “No Objection Certificate” in case he/she is employed any Central/State/ Quasi Government /Sector (Not necessary for private candidates). No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
