• Provide technical guidance in troubleshooting complex analytical instrument issues (HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, GC, IR) and resolve analysis problems independently.
• Mentor team members in advanced analytical techniques and guide them in troubleshooting experimental challenges.
Project Coordination and Technical Execution :
• Oversee the execution of complex projects, ensuring that experiments are designed and carried out in accordance with client requirements and project objectives.
• Demonstrate expertise in developing robust analytical methods for various compounds, including method validation and process development for scale-up of APIs.
• Coordinate multiple projects by allocating resources effectively, monitoring timelines, and ensuring all data meet quality and regulatory standards.
Advanced Analytical Interpretation :
• Exhibit expert-level skills in interpreting complex analytical data from techniques such as NMR (structure elucidation), LC-MS (mass fragmentation patterns), HPLC (impurity profiling), GC (volatile analysis), and IR (functional group identification).
• Analyze complex impurity profiles, degradation pathways, and validate analytical methods for new molecules, ensuring high accuracy in results.
• Develop and refine process chemistry for compound scale-up, ensuring efficient and scalable synthesis routes with a clear understanding of analytical method development for each stage.

Instrument Management and Troubleshooting :
• Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of key analytical instruments like HPLC, LC-MS, GC, FT-IR, NMR, and others.
• Ensure instrument performance through regular calibration, preventive maintenance, and adherence to SOPs to minimize downtime and ensure consistent data quality.
• Train team members in the use of cutting-edge technology platforms, ensuring they remain proficient with the latest instrument functionalities and software updates.
Cross-Departmental Technical Collaboration :
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, EHS, and Projects teams to provide technical solutions to complex analytical and process-related challenges.
• Actively participate in technical discussions with the chemistry and process development teams to resolve issues related to method development and scale-up chemistry.
Client Relationship Management and Technical Reporting :
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular technical updates, addressing scientific concerns, and proposing adjustments to study design where needed.
