The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER) Hyderabad is an Institute of National Importance established by an Act of Parliament under the aegis of the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India.

Post : Senior Research fellow (non-medical)

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the position of Senior Research fellow at the Department of Biological Science, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hyderabad, under the PI Dr. Santosh Kumar Guru. The eligibility criteria for the position are mentioned below.

The eligibility criteria for the position are mentioned below.
Qualification : Essential: (i) post-graduate post-graduate (PG) degree (including integrated PG degree) such as M.S. (Pharm)/ M. Pharm/ M.Sc./ M. Tech or Equivalent (with specialization in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Pharmacology & Toxicology/; in aforementioned disciplines with two years research experience in cancer biology. The qualification(s) must be from the recognized Board/ University/ Institute.
Desirable : Candidates have experience in basic cancer biology with Cell/molecular biology, Flow cytometry, Cloning, Gene editing, cell culture, and manuscript writing expertise.
Salary : 35,000 INR per month + House Rental Allowances (HRA) as per the ICMR norms [OR] As per ICMR norms (Approximate emoluments may be 44450 INR).
Age Limit : 35 years as on the last date of Application.
Period : Initially for one year, the extension will depend on performance.
