Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM&H), is a subordinate office under Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.Development of Pharmacopoeias and Formularies as well as acting as Central Drug Testing cum Appellate Laboratory for Indian systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy are the key fields of activity of PCIM&H. The Commission was initially established as Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine (PCIM) on 18th August, 2010 as an autonomous body under Ministry of AYUSH and was registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 on 31st August, 2010.
Applications are invited for the following posts to be engaged through an outsourcing agency at PCIM&H, Ghaziabad in the prescribed format attached herewith.
Senior Pharmacopeial Associate (Chemistry) - 01 post
Age Limit : Should not exceed 40 years
Qualification : Essential: i. Master degree in any branch of Chemistry or Pharmaceutical chemistry / Pharmaceutical analysis / quality assurance.
ii. 02 years’ experience in analysis of ASU&H drug using sophisticated instruments (HPTLC/HPLC/ GC-MS/MS/ ICP-OES etc.).
Desirable : Ph.D. in relevant area will be preferred.
Monthly Remuneration : Rs 40,000/-
Senior Pharmacopoeial Associate (Pharmacognosy) - 01 post
Age Limit : Should not exceed 40 years
Qualification : Essential : i. Master Degree in Botany / Pharmacognosy
ii. 02 years’ experience after PG Degree
Desirable : i. Ph.D. in Botany / Pharmacognosy.
ii. Publication in reputed Journal
iii. Experience in Microscopic work, Drug Standardization, Report Preparation, development and Excellent communication skills with adequate knowledge of computer applications and conversant in English.
Monthly Remuneration : Rs 40,000/-
Note
1. The engagement will be purely on a contractual basis through an outsourced agency and no claim for continuance or regular appointment will be entertained.
2. Only those candidates who will receive the confirmation email for appearing in the interview shall be considered to attend the interview.
3. The applications received after last date i.e. 24th November 2024 shall not be considered.
4. Applicable deduction in respect of ESI, PF and taxes shall be as per rules.
5. For attending interview at PCIM&H, No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
6. In case of meritorious candidates, age limit and qualification criteria may be relaxed at the discretion of Director, PCIM&H
7. The Director, PCIM&H reserves the right to accept or reject the application and postpone or cancel the interview without assigning any reason.
The application/s in the prescribed format supported with respective self-attested mark sheets/certificates/testimonials/experience certificates etc. along with signed biodata should be submitted latest by 24th November, 2024 to the email address dir.pcimh- ayush@gov.in. The shortlisted candidates will be intimated through email to appear in the interview along with date for the interview. Period of engagement will be initially for one year or completion of tenure of outsourcing agency whichever is earlier, based upon the performance in the interview.
