Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from Indian Nationals for the appointment of the following position.
Post : Junior Research Fellow
PI : Dr. Amaresh Panda
Project : “Analysis of the impact of mRNA-mRNA/circRNA interactions in pancreatic β-cell physiology” (Funded by Wellcome Trust/DBT India Alliance)
Fellowship : Rs. 31,000/- + HRA
Eligibility & Selection : Candidates having M.Sc. or an equivalent qualification in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics or allied Life Science subjects with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade point (50% for OBC/ST/SC) are eligible to apply. Candidates should have also qualified NET-JRF/NET-LS/GATE/GPAT/BET. Candidate with knowledge and experience in bioinformatics analysis or cell culture or molecular biology techniques will be preferred.
Age Limit : The candidate should be below 28 years in age, as on 12.12.2023.
Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per Govt. of India rules. Selection will be carried out through application screening, followed by an online interview process.

The decision of the institute regarding the selection of the candidates will be final and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
