The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) is the state of art of R&D wing of the Tata Memorial Centre. It is located in the picturesque settings at the foothills of the Sahyadri mountains in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. ACTREC comprises of, the Cancer Research Institute (CRI), Clinical Research Centre (CRC) and Centre for Cancer Epidemiology (CCE), a setting that is unique in India and built and evolved with a vision to provide comprehensive cancer care to one and all, through its motto of excellence in services, education and research.
Post : Junior Research Fellow
Project : “Deciphering dynamics of inflammasome innate immune pathways in oral cancer”
Educational Qualification and Experience : *M.Sc. (Life Sciences) or equivalent with minimum 60% marks in the qualifying exam. Candidates should be scholars who are CSIR- UGC NET/DBT JRF/ICMR JRF or GATE qualified OR selected through National level examinations conducted by Central Government departments and their agencies or institutions.
*Experience in Animal Tissue Culture will be preferred.
*M.Sc. degree having duration of one year course will not be considered.
Consolidated Salary : Rs. 39,370/- per month. (Rs. 31,000/- + 27%HRA) p.m.
Duration : Six months and extendable.
The work progress of the candidate will be monitored and extension after 6 months will depend on satisfactory progress of the work.
