Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - 01 Post
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the SERB (GOI) funded research projects at Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU). The post is purely temporary and co-terminates with project.
Minimum Qualifications : Post Graduate degree Basic Science or Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Professional Courses selected through a process described through any of the following:
a) Scholars who are selected through NET-CSIR-UGC-NET including NET-LS and GATE.
b) The selection process through National Level Examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Desirable Qualification : Experience in routine molecular biology techniques (gene isolation, cloning, and expression) and plant transformation and tissue culture techniques. Experience/knowledge about advanced genome editing tools and GC/GC-MS. Experience working with rice is added. Also, Project report preparation and Laboratory management skills
Age Limit : Up to 28 years on closing date of advertisement
Fellowship Duration : 1 Year (Can be extended to one more year based on the performance).
Fellowship : INR 31,000 plus HRA as per sanctioned project
