Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata (IISER Kolkata) was established in 2006 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. IISER Kolkata is designed to reach the prestigious position in the global setting that IISc, IIMs and IITs presently enjoy. IISER Kolkata is an autonomous institution awarding its own degrees. The central theme of the IISER Kolkata is to integrate education with research so that undergraduate teaching as well as doctoral and postdoctoral research work could be carried out in symbiosis.
Post : Research Associate-I
Applications are invited for a Research Associate-I position in a TCG LS Pvt Ltd Project under the joint supervision of Prof. C Malla Reddy & Prof. Rahul Banerjee, Department of Chemical Sciences, IISER Kolkata, India.
Remuneration : As per DST/SERB rules (Rs. 47000/- plus HRA (24%)).
Tenure : 12 months, with possibility of renewal upon satisfactory performance.
Basic Eligibility Criterion : Ph.D. or equivalent degree with proven experience in Crystal Engineering & Pharmaceutical Solid-State Chemistry, with minimum 60% marks in MSc (Chem) / MPharma.
Desirable additional experience : The candidate is expected to have knowledge in crystal engineering and pharmaceutical solid-state chemistry, co-crystals, physicochemical properties of solid APIs. Preference will be given to candidates with a prior research experience in crystal engineering, crystal growth of APIs.
Age Limit : An upper age limit of 40 years as on the date of the interview, which can be relaxed for certain reserved categories as per the rules of Government of India.
