About DBT BUILDER
The DBT through its Boost to University Interdisciplinary Life Science Departments for Education and Research (BUILDER) aims to accelerate interdisciplinary interactions between Life Sciences and other departments in universities in order to achieve an amalgamation of ideas leading to cutting edge modern interdisciplinary life sciences research and education.
DBT BUILDER Program In Bits, Pilani
The BUILDER program at BITS Pilani (Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campus) envisages cutting edge research and innovation in the unique environment of expertise in Life Sciences including Biological Sciences, Pharmacy Chemistry and Engineering Disciplines. Prospective candidate should be highly motivated to work in synergy with the three campuses of Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campus DBT BUILDER coordinators. The candidate will also be required to work closely with the funding agency (DBT).
Duration of the Position : Up to 4 years (the position is purely temporary and will be co-terminus with the project)
Remuneration : Rs. 31,000 per month (+admissible HRA as per DBT norms)
Qualification : A Master's Degree in Biology / Biotechnology / Pharmacy or any allied Life Sciences Discipline from a reputed institute/university.
Desirable experience :
• 1 to 2 years’ experience as project assistant or equivalent with handling of project reporting such as preparation of quarterly, half yearly and annual UC, SE, compilation of scientific reports, assist with organization of technical meetings, conducting training workshops/seminars, coordination and follow up with DBT for timely submission of all the necessary documents and activities pertinent to the project.
• Diploma in computer applications
• Proficient in Ms office (Word, excel, power point)
• Good knowledge of working in English and Hindi language
