Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer, ACTREC, is a unique Institute under the wing of Tata Memorial Centre and a grant-in-aid Institution of the Department of Atomic Energy. ACTREC conducts a PhD program in Life Sciences that is affiliated with the Homi Bhabha National Institute (a deemed university under category A by MHRD, Govt. of India). Fulfilling its ‘bench-to- bedside’ mandate, the Institute provides a highly conducive environment for world-class cancer research.
Post : Junior Research Fellow
Project : “ Fragment screening and identification of targets, modulators and/ or substrates of proteasome pathway”
Essential Qualification : M.Tech / M.Sc. in Biotechnology and CSIR/GATE/DBT (A) qualified.
Experience : Minimum experience of 6-12 months molecular biology, cloning, mammalian cell culture and live- cell imaging. techniques and animal handling.
Consolidated Salary : Rs. 39,370/- per month. (Rs. 31,000/-+27%HRA) p.m.
Duration : Six months.
The work progress of candidates will be monitored for extension after 6 months
