Originally established by the Government of Kerala as an advanced centre for medical specialties, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology SCTIMST metamorphosed into an Institution of National Importance with the status of a University in 1980 under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India by an Act of Parliament. The joint culture of medicine and technology that the Institute pioneered more than three decades ago has come of age and gained unprecedented acceptance in India. Stipend : Rs. 8000/- per month
Period of training : 1 year
Note : Depending upon the number of candidates a written test may be conducted to shortlist the candidates for interview - interested candidates may appear for a Walk-in-interview along with bio-data, original and copies of certificates to prove their age, qualification etc.
It may be noted that, candidate who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after the attainment of the qualification shall not be eligible for being engaged as an Apprentice. You will be eligible for the training only if, the period between the date of commencement of training and the date of acquiring the qualification (date of commencement of training and the date of issue of last mark list) is less than three years.
