Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an Autonomous Institution of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. IPC is created to set standards of drugs in the country. Its basic function is to update regularly the standards of drugs commonly required for treatment of diseases prevailing in this region. It publishes official documents for improving Quality of Medicines by way of adding new and updating existing monographs in the form of Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP). It further promotes rational use of generic medicines by publishing National Formulary of India. IP prescribes standards for identity, purity and strength of drugs essentially required from health care perspective of human beings and animals.
Post : Operations Director – Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI)
Applications are invited for the following vacant post at the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), an Autonomous organization under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Ghaziabad, through Manpower Resource Outsourcing Services Providing Agency.
Salary : 90 K - to UPTO 1.5 Lakh
Qualification : Essential :- Master’s degree in Pharmacy / Clinical Pharmacology / Pharmacy Practice / Clinical Research / Pharm.D / MBBS / BDS from recognised university / Institute. MBA as additional qualification will be preferred.
Experience
1. Minimum 10 years of experience in drug safety/Pharmacovigilance/Clinical Trials domain.
2. Experience in managing multi-location operations.
3. Ability to design systems and their execution
4. Designing & execution of communication strategy.
5. Experience in Running large awareness programs for the public.
Age : Preferably below 50 years (can be relaxed for the suitable candidate)

Job Description
1. Co-ordinate operations at ADR Monitoring Centres (AMCs).
2. Design & execute awareness program in the form of advertising and other engagement models.
3. Strategy to expand the national footprint for PvPI.
4. Designing and executing incentive programs.
Period of engagement
We are looking for long-term engagement with a suitable candidate. Engagement models could be consultancy, retainership, advisory or similar and can be finalized based on discussion and mutual agreement
