Applications are invited from suitably qualified and dedicated candidates for the following posts to work in the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), New Delhi sponsored Network Project on "Exploring marine actinobacteria for anti-infective and industrial products" for a period of three years.
Project Associate - 01 Post
Qualification : Essential. Master’s degree in Life Sciences or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (Biotechnology) from a recognized University or Equivalent Desirable : Experience in Actinobacterial research. Molecular techniques with relevant publications
Emolument/ Fellowship : Rs. 31,000 + 24% HRA/month for 1st & 2nd year; 35,000 +24% HRA / month for 3rd Year
Project Assistant - 01 Post
Qualification : Essential: B.Sc„ in Microbiology/Biotechnology Desirable: M.Sc., in Microbiology/Biotechnology with Experience in Actinobacterial research, handling and maintenance of microbial cultures
Emolument/ Fellowship : Rs. 20,000 /- fixed per month + 24% HRA/month
Project Associate and Project Assistant positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. However the Project Associate and Project Assistant will be encouraged to enroll for Ph.D at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology under the mentorship of the Principal Investigator.
