The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.
Applications are invited on plain paper for the post of Research Fellow in the Biotechnology Industry Research Assist Council (BIRAC) under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) funded project under Dr. Smita Pattanaik, Additional Professor, Dept, of Pharmacology. This is in further to the notice ref: PGI/Pharma/120/2020 dated 13.08.20, which stands cancelled, and replaced by the current one.
Research Fellow: 01 position
Essential Qualifications : PhD/First Class Masters Degree, from a recognized university along with two years of relevant research experience.
Remuneration : 30,000 consolidated
Project Assistant: 01 position
Essential Qualifications : PhD/First Class Masters Degree, from a recognized university along with two years of relevant research experience.
Remuneration : 23,000 consolidated
Technical Assistant: 01 position
Essential Qualifications : BSc MLT or equivalent, from a recognized university along with relevant research experience.
Remuneration : 15,000 consolidated
The engagement in the project is purely on temporary basis maximum for the period of duration of the project. Please note that it is not a PGIMER/BIRAC (DBT) appointment and will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim implicit or explicit on any position.
