Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali (Punjab), an autonomous institution of Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, has been established under the umbrella of NANO MISSION, initiated by DST to boost research and development in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in India. INST started its activities on 3rd January 2013, the date on which its first Director was appointed. The institute is currently operating from its transit campus at Habitat Centre, Sector-64, Phase-X, Mohali, Punjab.

Post : Senior Research Fellow

Required for the position of Project Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the research project funded by ‘DBT’.

Title of the Research Project: Nanotherapy for controlling epigenetic regulation by polycomb in Myb mediated leukemia.

Principal Investigator : Dr. Subhasree Roy Choudhury, Scientist-C

Project duration: For a period till 31.03.2020

Qualifications: Essential : M.Tech./ M.Sc. in Chemical Sciences/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ M.Pharm; and 2 years research experience of JRF Desirable: Candidates having experience in designing and development of nano formulations, nanoparticles, molecular biological techniques will be preferred.

Salary : Rs. 35,000 per month + 16% HRA
