Chandigarh State AIDS Control Society (CSACS) was registered in 1998 for implementing National AIDS Control Programme. NACP is a 100% centrally sponsored project. Secretary Health, UT Chandigarh is the Chairman of the Society, Project Director is the technical head assisted by Deputy Directors, Assistant Directors, other officers and supporting staff. During NACP I (1992-1999) the stress was on awareness generation among the general population and high risk population. In NACP II (1999-2006) main focus was targeted interventions for HRGs along with awareness increase in awareness among general population and high risk population. It also included strengthening and expansion of VCTC, Blood Bank, PPTCT and PEP services etc.

Applications are invited for the following posts on yearly contract basis, further renewable on the basis of satisfactory performance. Selection will be made through a written test and interview. The short listed candidates will be informed regarding the test/interview after scrutiny of their applications.

Qualification / Experience : University degree in Medicine or Nursing or pharmacy /Masters in Public Health or Health Management or Social Work or in any other relevant field with minimum 3 years of experience in Health sector.
Salary (in Per month) : Consolidated Rs 25,000/- P.M
The age limit for the post is 60 years.
Preference will be given to candidates having knowledge of English, Hindi and Punjabi. Service conditions will be governed by the guidelines issued by National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) from time to time.
The incomplete applications in any respect will be rejected without any intimation to the applicant and the applications received through e-mail shall not be entertained. No TA/DA will be given for appearing in the written test/interview.
The desirous candidates having the requisite qualifications/experience mentioned above shall submit their Application / Bio-data on or before 02.12.2019 alongwith self attested photocopies of certificate/testimonials and one recent passport size photograph duly self attested, a copy of SC/OBC certificate issued by Competent Authority, to the Project Director, Chandigarh State AIDS Control Society, Chandigarh at the address mentioned above. Original certificates/testimonial will be checked at the time of interview.
The candidates, whose OBC category is listed in Centre list as well as U.T. Chandigarh list, will be considered eligible for the said post. The candidates must mention the name of the post and category on the top of their Application/Bio-data. Number of post may be increased or decreased as per the requirement. HIV positive individuals are encouraged to apply.
