National AIDS Research Institute [NARI] was established in October 1992 in Bhosari, Pune on a seven acre plot. Over last two decades the Institute has established itself as a premier Institute devoted to research on HIV infection and AIDS. The Institute has contributed in the fight against HIV and AIDS through quality research encompassing clinical research for optimizing the treatment and care, development and testing new modalities for prevention and generating new information on HIV biology in context with HIV-1 subtype C infection prevalent in India.
Post : Consultant Study Coordinator
Walk in Interview will be held for the Consultant Study Coordinator under "Impact Evaluation of ART under NACP” project. This is purely temporary post up to 31 March 2019.
Age : Up to 70 years
Essential Qualification : MD/MS/DNB after MBBS/BDS with 1 years' experience OR Postgraduate diploma/MPH/MHA/MBA/other masters after MBBS/BDS with 2 years of experience OR Ph. D. in population Sciences/ Biomedical Sciences/health sciences/statistics with 2 years of experience OR Masters in population Sciences/ Biomedical Sciences/health sciences/statistics with 8 years of relevant experience. OR Retired Government employee with above mentioned educational qualification including MBBS alone educational qualification drawing pay in pay band 15600-39100+ Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/- at the time of retirement and having adequate working experience of managing research studies and grants/projects independently or providing significant scientific and administrative support to the principal investigator and in multicenter collaboration
Desirable Qualification :
Experience in
• Programme or process evaluation and large multicentre biomedical research studies.
• HIV and antiretroviral treatment.
• Study/research/project/ data management, field work and study implementation.
• Good communication skills.

Job Responsibility :
• Supervision of data extraction data Review for STI/Ols.
• TB Mortality Morbidity field activities.
• Coordination and supervision of survey and field activities at National Level.
• Liaise with regional Institutes and study staff for all the states where data is to be collected.
• Extensive field work monitoring.
• Desk Reviews.
• Communication with the study team, Program Manager and PI.
• Report Writing.
