National Institute of Technology, Warangal (Deemed University) , formerly known as Regional Engineering College, was established in 1959. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru laid the foundation stone for this institute on October 10, 1959, the first in the chain of 30 NITs (formerly known as RECs) in the country. The Institute is well known for its dedicated faculty, staff and the state-of-the art infrastructure conducive to a healthy academic environment.The Institute is constantly striving to achieve higher levels of technical excellence. Evolving a socially relevant and yet internationally acceptable curriculum, implementing innovative and effective teaching methodologies and focusing on the wholesome development of the students are our concerns. Essential Qualifications:
First class in B. E / B. Tech Biotechnology or allied subjects With valid GATE score
(OR)
First class in B.E / B. Tech Biotechnology or allied subjects and First class in M.E / M.Tech / MS Biotechnology or allied subjects with valid GATE score
(OR)
First class in Integrated M.Tech Biotechnology or allied subjects with valid GATE score
(OR)
First class in M.Sc Biotechnology, Life sciences or allied subjects and First class in M.Tech Biotechnology or allied subjects with valid GATE score
Age Limit: Upto 28 years
Duration: 3 years
Nature of Work: Molecular cloning, Protein expression & Purification, Computational Biology, Mammalian cell culture
Consolidated Fellowship
1. Rs. 25,000/- pm for first two years and Rs. 28,000/- pm for third year.
2. The selected candidate is eligible for on campus Hostel & Mess facilities based on the availability.
Other Benefits
The selected candidate will be encouraged to register for PhD degree under Principal Investigator (PI) at NIT Warangal.
