Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh is one of the premier and oldest medical institutes of the NE region of India. British Philanthropist Sir John Berry White, a retired brigadier of British army and later the civil surgeon of the erstwhile Lakhimpur district in 1870, contributed his lifetime earning of Rupees Fifty Thousand (present day valuation is more than 50 million of rupees) to establish his brain child “Berry White Medical School” in 1900 AD.
Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh requires the following staff on purely temporary basis for the ICMR projects for the Department of Microbiology/ Paediatrics, Assam Medical College and Hospital, Dibrugarh.
Scientist-II
Qualification : ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: MD or B. Tech degree in Biotechnology/Genetic engineering with 6 years’ experience or equivalent degree from a recognized university. Or First class master’s degree in the Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life science from a recognized university with 4 years R&D / teaching experience in the relevant subject after 1st class master’s degree. Or Second class M. Sc. + Ph. D degree in the Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Life science from a recognized University with 4 years R&D / teaching experience in the relevant subject after M. Sc. + Ph. D.
Desirable Qualification : i. Additional Postdoctoral research / training experience in relevant subjects in recognized instituted). ii. Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools / Data Management. NOTES: i. Candidates with MD or M. Tech decree will be preferred for direct requirement
Age : 40 Yrs.
Salary : Rs. 51000/- p.m. +10% HRA i.e. Rs. 53,220/- p.m
Senior Research Fellow – 1
Qualification : MBBS/ BDS/ MVSc/ M.Sc. (Life Sciences/ Zoology/Botany), M.Pharm./M.E/M.Tech degree holders
Desirable Qualification : Knowledge / Degree in Statistics Two or more years of research experience, preferably CSIR/UGC or ICMR/PGI National Entrance Test (NET) and have a valid certificate & experience.
Age : 35 Yrs.
Salary : Rs 28,000/- + 10% HRA
