NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (NBRC) invites application for the position of “Junior Research Fellow (Project)” in DBT funded project entitled “CRISPRI system: A toolbox to investigate novel regulatory mechanisms of synapse formation by long non-coing RNAs”.
Essential Qualification
M.Sc. in Life Sciences or Physical Sciences 60% and above marks from matriculation onwards
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate qualified any National Eligibility Test (NET).
NETs include CSIR-UGC NET including LS category, ICMR-JRF, GATE, JAM, GPAT, JEST, Biotechnology Eligibly Test and test conducted in Bioinformatics by Bioinformatics National Consortium and Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Science (JGEEBILS)
Desirable Qualification
Experience in Cell culture methods or next generation sequencing data analysis or CRISPR based genome editing
Fellowship
Rs 25,000/- pm + HRA (No other allowances are applicable)

Tenure
The tenure will be for a period of one year initially and may be extended on performance review. The post is co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates should abide by the rules and regulations of NBRC.
