Job Description
Job Purpose
Manage R&D development related operations for specific dosage form(s) to ensure on-time, within budget quality delivery along with a continuous focus on improvements

Accountabilities
I. Approve formulations strategy and project plan for specific dosage forms, through a streamlined process to reduce development timelines and facilitate on time commercial delivery
II. Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements for specific dosage form through all stages of formulation development by implementing regulatory guidelines and adapting to regulatory changes which may happen over the formulation’s development tenure
III. Develop innovative platform technology products, delivery devices and packaging solutions based on inputs from relevant cross functional teams
IV. Identify clinical trial labs and drive completion of clinical studies by interacting with clinical labs to achieve a patient compliant product (accountability applicable only for topicals and consumer health team leader)
V. Drive and resolve issues related to manufacturing, analytical and RA and APIs for all manufacturing locations to reduce product cost and streamline processes of existing products

Candidate Profile
• M.Pharm / Ph. D
• 12-14 years of experience formulation development in Solid Oral Dosage form including 3-5 years as Formulation development GL
• Candidate should have experience of working for Domestic/India markets
