Department : New Product Development
Desired Profile : M.Pharm (Pharmacology) /PhD (Biology)/ M.V.Sc. (Pharmacology /Animal nutrition) with 3-5 years’ experience in biological research / New product development / validation of products for safety and efficacy.
Accountabilities
• New Product Ideation and Business Case creation
• New Product Development : Execution of Projects
• Publication and training of S&M teams on the new product attributes
• Post launch surveillance
Major Activities
• Scanning the animal and human health space for potential new product ideas
• Visit markets, customers, and exhibitions for identifying customer needs.
• Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to build an NPD idea bank.
• Filtering ideas to arrive at workable NPD ideas.
• Generating effective business case scenarios for selected NPD ideas in collaboration with MKT dept
• Project management of NPD: End to end management of execution of the projects using the stage gate process using SFDC.
• Collaborate with CFT team members for alignment of project objectives and ensuring the tasks get done on time
• Participate in seminars in national and international forums to create scientific impact and disseminate knowledge of the new product.
• Support in publication of the work done on new products in reputed journals.
• Training of S&M in new products
• To collaborate with market to know how the new product is performing in the market to discover CVP. Being part of post launch surveillance.

• No. of ideas generated.
• Number of business cases closed for NPD
• Number of fields visit made to gather NPD insights
• Effectiveness of NPD projects management
• How well the person collaborates with CFT.
• No. of projects completed on time.
• No of publications
• No of seminars attained.
• No of training programs conducted for S&M
• No of projects effectively managed post launch
