Application for the position of one project research scientist 1 position for the ICMR project " Brain- Targeted Antibacterial Nanomedicine to Revolutionize the Existing Therapy for Bacterial Meningitis" under the supervision of Prof. Swati Biswas.
Scope of work : Synthesis of Polymer, polymeric nanoparticles, Characterization of physicochemical parameters Determination of anticancer therapeutic effect in the in vitro assay systems Validation of the in vitro results in the in vivo animal models of bacterial meningitis.
Essential Qualification : Master's Degree in Pharmaceutics or Pharmaceutical Sciences (First- class) from a recognized university. The candidate will be eligible to apply for the Ph.D. position next semester. PhD candidates are encouraged to apply. The appointment will be initially for one year with a possibility for extension based on the performance.
Desirable Qualification : GATE / NET / GPAT qualification with prior experience working on a project related to developing nanoformulations, mammalian cell cultures, and in vivo experiments. Strong interest in learning new techniques.
Fellowship : 56,000/- (initially first two years) and Rs 63,000 (afterward till the end of the project) per month.
