Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from the Indian Nationals to join the following position sanctioned under ICMR-funded project.
Post : Research Fellow (01 position)
Project Title : “Exploring the medicinal value of plant secondary metabolites through in-silico tools”
Duration of the Project : Three months
Project Investigator : Dr. A. Dixit
Eligibility : Candidates having M.Sc. / M.Pharm. or equivalent qualification in Life Sciences or allied subjects such as Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Bioinformatics / Microbiology / Pharmacy, etc. with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade point (50% for OBC/ST/SC) are eligible to apply. Candidates should have qualified NET-JRF/NET- LS/GATE/ICAR-NET/GPAT or equivalent national test.
Age Limit : The candidate should be below 28 years of age, as of 06.05.2024. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
Fellowship : Rs. 40,000/- per month (Consolidated)

Incomplete applications and applications without the above- mentioned documents will be rejected. The appointment will be for one year or until the end of the project.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the Director regarding the selection of candidates will be final and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
