Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), is an Institution of national importance established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology in a globally competitive research milieu.
Post : Project Research Scientist-III (Non-Medical) position
Title of Project : Establishment of Centre for Advanced Research for Rapid Development of Host-directed broad Antivirals (EMDR/CARE/12/2023-0000176).
Principal Investigator : Dr. Manjula Kalia
Duration : One year (may be extended depending on project duration)
Minimum Essential Qualifications : (i) First class Post graduate degree, including the integrated PG degrees, with three year experience or PhD;
(ii) Second class post graduate degree, including the integrated PG degrees, with PhD and three year experience;
(iii) must have handled minimum five projects relevant to the requirement as PI or Co-PI.
Desirable Qualifications : Should have experience in molecular biology techniques, infectious disease research, working with RNA viruses and animal models.
Age Limit : 45 years
Fellowship : Rs. 78,000/- + HRA per month
