Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) is the first Pharmacy University in India and third in the world, established by Act 07 of 2008 State legislature of Delhi and functional from 2015. It is 100% grant-in-aid State Government University recognized under 2f and Section 22 of the UGC. The University has the legacy of 57 years starting with the D. Pharm. in polytechnic in 1964 to College of Pharmacy in 1972 and then the institute Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR) in 2004 that got converted into DPSRU as it stands now.
Advertisement for the post of Project Research Scientist - I (Non-Medical)
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) for the project "Clinical Evaluation of Fibroblast Growth Factor (FGF) and Silver Nanoparticle (AgNP) Entrapped Gelatin/Gellan Hybrid Gels as Wound Dressings in Diabetic Foot Ulcer Patients" funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The initial period of employment may be for one year, with the possibility of renewal for up to three years contingent upon satisfactory performance.
Qualification
Essential : 1. First class post-graduate (PG) degree (including integrated PG degree) such as M.S. (Pharm)/ M.Pharm (with specialization in Clinical Research/ Clinical Pharmacology / Pharmacology & Toxicology. [OR]
2. Second class post-graduate degree in aforementioned disciplines with Ph.D. These qualifications must be obtained from a recognized Board/University/Institute.
Desirable : Candidates with a Ph.D. degree and/or significant experience in clinical research, clinical trials, and Pharmacological drug screening using in vitro and in vivo models, histopathological techniques, and molecular biology methodologies are preferred.
Job description : Conduct the important tasks of the research project (such as clinical trial implementation and monitoring in tertiary care hospitals, systematic review and meta- analysis, qualitative research analysis, procurement of tools and equipment, qualitative interview, quality assurance and supervision of data collection, data analysis, report writing and dissemination, financial record-keeping), and any other tasks assigned by the PI.
Project duration : 36 months
Age Limit : 35 years as of May 27, 2024.
Salary : INR 56,000 per month + House Rental Allowances (HRA) as per ICMR norms.
