The AIIMS, New Delhi model will be adopted and adapted. Unlike the Postgraduate Institutes which lack the basic departments like Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology etc, the new AIIMS will have these departments as well as the superspecialty departments like neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, urology, endocrinology etc.

Project Scientist-D
Qualification / Experience Required : Essential Qualifications : Professional with MD or Ph.D Bioinformatics from recognized institution with experience in handling and analysis of Next- generation sequencing data with good publication record
Experience : At least 7 years of experience in Research and Development in the field
Desirable Qualification : Experience in Bioinformatics Epidemiological related studies / Molecular Biology and Next Generation Sequencing.
Upper Age Limit (years) : 45
Project Scientist-I
Qualification / Experience Required : MD or Ph.D degree with 1st Class Master Degree in Bioinformatics / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry from recognized university with 4 years experience in related field Desirable: Experience in Bioinformatics Epidemiological related studies, Molecular Biology and Next Generation Sequencing.
Upper Age Limit (years) : 35
Scientist-C
Qualification / Experience Required : Essential Qualifications : Ph.D / first class M.Sc Degree (Microbiology, Biotechnology and Life sciences) from recognized institution with 5 years experience in molecular biology and microbiology. Or 2nd class Master degree with Ph.D in relevant subject from a recognized University with 5 years research experience.
Upper Age Limit (years) : 40
Project Associate-II / SRF
Qualification / Experience Required : Essential Qualifications : (i Candidate should have Master Degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry from a recognized University/Institute and selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIT-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Department and their Agencies and Institutions Experience: Minimum two years experience in Research (Post M.Sc.)
Desirable Qualification : Experience in Microbiological and molecular biological techniques.

Project Associate-I- / JRF
Qualification / Experience Required : Essential Qualifications : (i) For post of Project Associate-I, candidate should have Master Degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates having knowledge of Microbiological and molecular biological techniques will be preferred.
