Job Description
• Develop and execute procurement category management strategies in Chemical Development which includes material of all categories (Key Starting/Raw Material, Solvents, General Chemicals, Packing Materials, etc.) in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Deliver excellence in all category management procurement KPIs.
• Responsible for negotiations for the best possible cost service guarantee and developing “win-win” strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers
• Good understanding of procurement systems, GMP quality systems, and compliance requirement
• Good understanding of chemical synthesis, production process, and associated cost drivers for procurement.
• Manage supply chain risk by developing vendors across the globe (minimize geographical dependency or single source dependency)
