Post : Process Development Sr. Scientist
Candidate Profile : Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry with 4-8 years' experience or M.Sc. (Chemical Engineering) with 8-13 years' experience
Job Description :
• Expertise in process development and drug substance scaleup / manufacturing
• Experience in Technology transfer from the process lab to the pilot plant or manufacturing facility
• Batch planning and flawless batch execution skills
• Capability to handle Moisture and air-sensitive reagents, pyrophoric reagents, and catalyst reactions
• Operating knowledge of process reactors and understanding of manufacturing reactors
• Preparation of process-related documents like PFD, HAZOP, P&ID
• Hands-on experience on Chemdraw and other chemistry search engines
• Analytical skills. Ability to interpret NMR, Mass, and other spectroscopy techniques
• Knowledge of process safety requirements from gram scale to multi-kilo scale
• Good communication skills, written and oral communication, and working with third-party vendors
