Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at L. M. College of Pharmacy, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad for full-time research work on a project entitled "Design, Synthesis and Pharmacological Evaluation of ULK-1 Inhibitors: Discovery of a Novel ULK1 Inhibitor Targeting Autophagy and its Combinatorial Potential as an Anti-cancer Therapeutic Modality for Breast Cancer" under GSBTM sponsored research project (Sanction no. GSBTM/JD(R&D)/618/21-22/00003668 dated 21st April, 2022) latest by 16th May 2022.

Qualification : Postgraduate degree (M.Pharm./M.S./M.Sc.) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Pharmacoinformatics with minimum 55% marks and good academic record. Candidates with GPAT/GATE/CSIR-UGC NET and two or more years of experience will be preferred.
Desirables : Experience in molecular modelling software (proprietary/open source), Experience with different computer operating systems (e.g. Linux, and Windows), software installation and troubleshooting. Basic python/shell programming skills and experience with GUI development. Good basic knowledge of medicinal chemistry and pharmacology principles. Good oral, written, communication and presentation skills.
Emolument
(i) For the candidates with GPAT/GATE/CSIR-UGC NET qualification as per Government India guidelines : Rs. 31,000/- + HRA
(ii) For fellows not having qualifications : Rs. 23,213/-Fixed
Duration of the Project : 1 year
