Gujarat Biotechnology University is a new post graduate university established by the Gujarat Biotechnology University Act 2018. GBU invites applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (Antimicrobial Resistance Research Project) & JRF/Project Assistant (Biohydrogen Research Project). GBU aims to launch MSc by Research and PhD programmes from June 2022.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on research project entitled “Exploring prophylactic activities of diverse structural pectin oligosaccharides: a step towards nutrigenomics” funded by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
Minimum Qualifications : Post Graduate in professional course (Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology) selected through a process described through any one of the following a) Scholars are selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Desirable Qualification:- Analytical Chemistry, Bioinformatics, Molecular cloning and genetic engineering.
Duration : The appointment will be initially for two years as JRF or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier. Further up-gradation from JRF to SRF will be on the basis of submission of progress report and further assessment.
Fellowship : Rs. 31000/- per month Plus HRA as per project.
