The Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD) although registered in April, 2001, under the Manipur Societies Registration Act, 1989, the regular activity of the Institute could be started only with the appointment of its first Director on 18th January, 2003 to achieve the following mission, goal and objectives.
Applications are invited from deserved and suitable candidates for the post of 01 – Project Associate- I and 01 – Project Associate-II under the project entitled “Ecological assessment, niche modeling, phytochemical investigations and standardization of propagation protocol of some important Himalayan medicinal plants for mass multiplication of elite germplasm” funded by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, under Himalayan Bioresources Mission, at IBSD, Imphal.
Project Associate-I – 01
Fellowship : Rs. 25,000/- + 8% HRA/ month. (Consolidated for 1st, 2nd & 3rd year)
Duration : 03 years or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier.
Qualifications : M.Sc. in Life Science / Zoology / Botany / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry or any other relevant field.
Upper age limit : 35
Project Associate-II – 01
Fellowship : Rs. 28,000/- + 8% HRA/ month. (Consolidated for 1st, 2nd & 3rd year)
Duration : 03 years or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier
Qualifications : M.Sc. in Life Science / Zoology/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ or any relevant field having 02 years of research experience in R&D in Industrial or Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations.
Upper age limit : 35
Emoluments detail of research personal(s) mentioned in the table shall be applicable only if candidate(s) met educational qualification and eligibility criteria as per DST OM No.SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019.
1. The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidatesshall not claim for regular appointment either in IBSD, Imphal and its branches or DBT, New Delhi.
2. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
3. The upper age limit is relaxable for reserved categories as perGoI norms.
