Post: Project Scientist, Project Associate

Title of Project : Development of small molecular antivirals against Chikungunya and Japanese Encephalitis Virus.
Duration : Initially for 12 months and may be extended after review.

Project Scientist-II
Age Limit : 40 Years
Essential Qualifications : Doctoral Degree in Life Science / Biotechnology / Biology or equivalent subject; with experience in Research and Development at Academic Institutions with peer-reviewed publications in international journals. Research experience and practical knowledge of protein production, purification, biochemical assays and protein crystallography OR Research experience and practical knowledge of computational drug discovery.

Project Associate-II
Age Limit : 35 Years
Essential Qualifications : (i) Master’s degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Bioinformatics / Natural Sciences or equivalent with minimum 60% marks and (ii) two years' research experience.
Position 1: Practical knowledge of virology and molecular biology.
Position 2 : Research experience and practical knowledge of computational drug discovery OR protein purification, biochemical assays and crystallization.

Emoluments : Rs. 43,400/- or Rs. 34,720/- (Consolidated) per month as per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10.07.2020.

Laboratory Attendant

Essential Qualifications : Graduate degree in Science with experience of handling support activities in a research laboratory.
