Walk in interview for Junior Research Fellow at NIPB

National Research Centre on Plant Biotechnology (NRCPB) is a premiere research institution of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The institute was founded in 1985 as the ‘Biotechnology Centre’ of Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) for molecular biology and biotechnology research in crop plants. The prescience of the role of biotechnology in agriculture led to a bigger responsibility for this centre and it was elevated as National Research Centre on Plant Biotechnology in the year 1993.

Emoluments Fixed per month : Rs. 31,000 + HRA

Essential Qualifications :
Essential: Master’s degree with 60% marks in Plant Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Life science/ Plant Pathology with NET/GATE qualification selected through a process described in SERB Office Memorandum (O.M) No. SB/S9/Z-06/2019 (Dated: 23rd April, 2019).
Desirable: Working Experience in Molecular Biology Techniques, Bioinformatic tools, plant tissue culture and genetic transformation with supporting publications

Age Limit : 35 years max. (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and woman candidates as per SERB rules). The post is purely temporary in nature and is co-terminus with the project.

The interview will be held on 1st June, 2020 at 10 am at NIPB, LBS Building, Pusa Campus, and New Delhi-110012.

The candidates must bring four copies of biodata, original certificates, attested photocopies of each of the certificates and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph.

No TA/DA would be given for the appearance in interview. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interviews.
