Post : Marketing Manager- Frontier Markets

Job Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for driving Marketing strategies across all therapy areas (Oncology / Respiratory / CVRM including core brands & GI) .Develops BSPs for brands & manages all marketing activities for the portfolio to support company objectives across FM. Conducts analysis of the market segment, works on identifying insights from different markets & for different therapy areas including accessing the potential of the markets for identification of key growth drivers, opportunities and risks through the distributors appointed in various markets. Incorporates results of analysis into product strategy & in long range planning.

Job Responsibilities
• Leads development of localised brand strategy and marketing plans for the portfolio of brands across frontier markets
• Work in close association with distributors across markets to analyses promotions, public relations, and advertising associated with assigned brands/products
• Works closely with managed markets teams to ensure sharp positioning & ensure successful pre & post launch activities
• Works closely with sales leaders team to identify opportunities/issues
• Participates in development of training for field/customer service personnel of managed market teams on brand information
• Responsible for brand performance though the managed market distributor teams
• Gather local market understanding and customer’s insights to drive market growth across brands
• Provide input and feedback on campaign developed for different markets & plan new campaigns in co-ordination with the distributor teams
• Localise Area Brand Operational Plan and ensure effective implementation of the country brand operational plans by the managed market teams and monitor against agreed KPI.
• Works with distributor’s teams and medical to develop key stakeholders & KOLs through scientific programs and engagement
• Develop winning strategies based on input on competition, customers, pricing and value story to market
• Design & Implement Patient Access Programs along with improve access to Dx in different markets
• Adherence to AZ global policy for external interaction, code of conduct and industry code of marketing practices.

Candidate Profile
Essential
• Bachelor’s Degree of Pharmacy or Medicine
• Scientific background or affinity for scientific information
• 6-8 years of pharmaceutical experience
• Marketing and/or promotions experience
• Experience developing a strategy and executing on that strategy
• Experience managing complex projects
• Understanding of local Healthcare environment
• > 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical brand management with good track record of effective implementation of plan and campaign;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of the country and region Healthcare environment

Desirable
• MBA in relevant field
• Experience in CVRM & oncology portfolio
• Experience in Insight/Market Research
• Experience in patient programs
• Experience in Consumer and/or Managed Markets strategy
• Sales and/or Sales Leadership experience
