NIAB is an autonomous and premier institute of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. The Institute aims to develop and harness novel and emerging biotechnological tools and applications, and take up research in cutting-edge areas for improving animal health and productivity as well as contribute to human health and welfare.

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following positions at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad against DBT funded project entitled “Development of injectable nanofibrous implant for oestrus synchronization in cattle” (PI: Dr. Pankaj Suman)

Project Associate-II

Duration : Six months (extendable till the completion of the project)

Eligibility :
a. Post Graduate degree in professional courses (M. Pharm/M. Tech in Life Sciences/M. V. Sc. etc.) or,
b. Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology) with NET qualification or,
c. Non-NET-qualified candidates with post graduate degree in Life Sciences can also apply; who will be paid as per DST guidelines.

Desired Experience : Candidate with at least two years of experience in molecular biology / Gene cloning /cell culture technique will be given preference.

Age : 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)

Fellowship amount : Rs. 35000/-PM +24% HRA (if applicable) as per the DST guidelines.

Project Associate-I

Duration : Six months (extendable till the end of the project)

Desired Experience : Candidate with experience in molecular biology/Drug delivery system/ Nanotechnology /Gene cloning/cell culture technique will be given preference.

Age : 28 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)

Fellowship amount : Rs.31000/-PM+24% HRA (if applicable) as per the DST guidelines.
