Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) invites application for position of Research Fellows to work in collaboration with National Institutes of Health (NIH)/CRDF sponsored research project in the Department of Pharmacy Practice, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal. Selected research fellows will work on development of TB Portal in Indian populations which is an initiation for International partnership for clinical informatics and advanced research in tuberculosis.
Senior Research Fellow
Qualifications:
• MSc or PhD (Microbiology/Molecular biology/Biotechnology)
Skills Required:
• Microbiology/molecular biology techniques
• Passion for research
• Good Communication & leadership Skills
• Computer skills
Duties and responsibilities:
• Collecting patients sputum and AFB cultures
• Performing and standardizing drug sensitivity test for Mtb (second line)
• Isolation of genomic DNA from cultures
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Manuscript writing and publications
Remuneration is based on research experience
Junior Research Fellow
Qualifications:
• PharmD/MPharm (pharmacy practice)/MSc nursing
Skills Required:
• Passion for research
• Clinical Data Entry
• Collaboration with Clinicians
• Good Communication and leadership skills
• Computer skills
Duties and responsibilities:
• Collecting patients data and informed consent
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Manuscript writing and publications
Remuneration is based on research experience
