The jurisdiction of S. D. Agricultural University is Seven Districts of North Gujarat region viz., Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Mehsana, Patan, Gandhinagar, Kachchh and Aravalli. SDAU is established for the better development of Agriculture and allied sectors in the North Gujarat Agro-climatic Zone. The SDAU is aimed to serve the agricultural interest for the economic development of the farming community of North Gujarat region. S. D. Agricultural University has 8 colleges, 28 Research Stations and 3 KVKs in the jurisdiction.

Assistant Research Scientist (ARS)
Pay Amount (Rs) : 25000/-per Month (Fixed)
Qualification : Ph D. OR M. Pharm (QC.QA.). M V Sc. / M. Sc. with I Class (NET preferable) in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Chemistry /Microbiology) candidate having experience on analytical / chromatography laboratory works desirable.
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Pay Amount (Rs) : 16000/-per Month (Fixed)
Qualification : M. Sc (Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology/ Chemistry) / M. Pharm / M.V. Sc / M. Sc. Agril. Preference will be given to candidate having experience on analytical chromatography laboratory works.
GENERAL INFORMATION:-
a) The contractual person will be engaged purely on the temporally and/or adhoc basic. SDAU is not bound to provide any employment after completion of the contract assignment. However, above said out sourcing/contractual engagement can be renewed for one or more terms, depending upon the efficiency of candidate and the requirement of the scheme.
b) In addition to laboratory works, selected candidate will be required to do work as assigned by the undersigned.
c) If the performance of the selected candidate is not found satisfactory his/ her service will be terminated without any prior notice even before the period for which he/ she is engaged.
d) Eligible candidate may directly attend the walk-in- interview on above specified date and time at his/her own cost, along with his/ her Bio-data (as per Performa attached with this notice), one pass-port size photograph, copies of educational qualifications, work experience certificate and age proof etc.
