Sikkim, a Himalayan State blessed with a rich biodiversity, is also under the Ayurveda studies umbrella with Central Council for Research in Ayurveda and Siddha, Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare setting up a Regional Research Institute (Ayurveda) here at Tadong, 4 kms away from the capital town of Gangtok. The institution is not only providing health services to the people here but is also engaged in research work and survey of the 500 odd medicinal plants found in Sikkim.

Qualification:
Essential: Diploma in Pharmacy/D. Pharm.(Ay.) or experience in Ayurvedic pharmacy
Age limit: 27 years
Remuneration per month: Rs.16000/-
*Non availability of MD/MS, JRF will be considered for the post.
General Information to the candidates:-
1. A written test followed by interview will be held on for the post of Senior consultant and JRF.
2. Sl. No 1,2,4 & 5 posts are for North East plan RARI extension centre in four different place of Sikkim at Singtam/Rangpo,Namchi, Gazying and Mangan.
3. Age limit of the candidate will be determined as on date of interview. Relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC as per Government rules .
4. The engagement of above post are initially for a period for one year which may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the competent authority and their engagement will be co-terminus with the project.
5. The engagement of above post will be purely on contractual basis and no right to claim for continuation or regular appointment.
6. Applicants should bring their Bio-data along with original certificates, experience certificates etc. with a set of photo copy and two recent passport size photographs.
7. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/interviews.
8. The Selection Committee has right to select or reject application of candidate.
