National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) has been set up under the National Health Mission (NHM) as an autonomous registered society, to channelize technical assistance and capacity building support to the states for strengthening the public health system. The NHSRC is also mandated to contribute towards National strategic health planning and programme design. Work at the NHSRC is organised around eight divisions, namely – Community Processes, Quality Improvement, Public Health Planning, Public Health Administration, Healthcare Financing & Healthcare Technology, HMIS and Human Resources for Health.

National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC), New Delhi on behalf of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare is seeking resume s from qualified candidates f or the above mentioned post purely on contractual basis.

Roles and Responsibilities
As part of National RBSK Unit, Child Health Division, the incumbent is responsible to
1) Provide managerial, and technical assistance for implementation of Rashtriya Bal Swa sthaya Karyakram at National, and in States, in accordance to programme mandate and direction as may be agreed upon from time to time in achieving the RBSK implementation goals.
2)  Coordinate and analyse monthly monitoring data. Collect, collate and analyse S tate and National data on RBSK on a regular basis

3)  Undertake periodic field visits to States/UTs and districts to review programme implementation in the States, identify implementation challenges and support states in charting appropriate solutions or enab le linkages with appropriate institutions for technical inputs in the state or at national level in consultation with National RBSK Unit
4)  Undertake analytical documentation of field review visits to inform improvements in implementation
5) Identify best practi ces and innovations within states and districts and support states to document
6) Provide periodic synopsis of progress in States/UTs using data and field findings as a means of technical support and programme oversight.
7)  Provide technical inputs on thematic areas of RBSK implementation – Screening and District Early Intervention Centre implementation
8)  Review Programme Implementation Plan (PIP) of States/UT - in accordance to the aims and objective of Rashtriya Bal Swasthaya Karyakram, analysing for consistency and synergy, reviewing component wise budgets, ensuring adherence to norms and provide inputs to States/UTs as required for revision and submission of final PIPs for discussion at the National Programme Coordination Committee meetings.
9)  Building capacities at state level for making implementation plans and for review & improving the plans, using both epidemiological and RBSK Monitoring inputs. Budgeting and financial planning as required by the poor performing states.
10) Develop study / evaluation protocols an d undertake and guide studies as needed.
11) Undertake other assignments, which may be assigned from time to time by the Reporting Authority.
12)  Delivery of all the above tasks in a time bound manner

Eligibility:
* Post Graduate degree in Social Work/ Health Manag ement/ MBA from a reputed and recognized institution Minimum 6 - 8 years of experience in Public Health management. Relevant experience (minimum 3 - 4 years) in implementation of government policies/ strategies, particularly Rashtriya Bal Swasthaya Karyakram (RBSK) National Health Mission and State Health Societies.
* Published work in the area of h ealth systems or public health
 * Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point & Web surfing to search relevant data & documents.
 * Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills in English.Working knowledge of Hindi also desirable
* Demonstrated ability to work in a multi - disciplinary team environment. \
* Demonstrated experience in operationalizing health program at National/State level.
*  Willingness to travel to states & districts to provide technical assistance & ability to work on different assignments simultaneously to meet the timelines for assignments.
*  Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in NHM / RCH at National or State level
* Formal educational qualification and experience could be relaxed when there is published work of high quality or whenever there is work exp erience of specific relevance.

Remuneration Range: Between Rs. 130000/ - to 150000/ - per month
